The FA Cup competition is heating up, as the best teams have already qualified for the next round of the tournament.
Like we always expect, there are possibilities that it may be another Premier League final.
However, the competition may be less intense because three Premier League giants are already out of the tournament: Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool.
Below are the results from The fourth round matches played on Sunday:
Brighton vs Liverpool
Liverpool failed to qualify for the next round of the FA Cup. Brighton came from behind to score two goals against Liverpool. It is the second time Brighton will defeat Liverpool this season.
Harvey Elliot scored in the 30th minute of the game, but Lewis Dunk equalized in the 39th minute. Kaoru Mitoma scored the winning goal in the 90+2 minute to send the FA Cup Champions out of the tournament.
Winner: Brighton
Stoke City vs Stevenage
In fine form, Stoke City have earned their way into the fifth round of the FA Cup after defeating Stevenage 3-1. Jacob Brown scored in the 3rd minute; however, Stevenage got their equalizer in the 70th minute from Jamie Reid.
Stoke City were quick to take the lead again after Josh Laurent scored in the 73rd minute. The Potters extended their lead with Lewis Baker’s penalty in the 80th minute.
Winner: Stoke City
Wrexham vs Sheffield United
The League 1 team battled it out with Sheffield United, and it ended in a 3-3 draw.
Oli McBurnie scored in the second minute of the match, as spectators thought it was going to be an easy game for the Sheffield United team.
James Jones of Wrexham got an equalizer in the 50th minute to give Wrexham fans hope. Thomas O’Connor scored in the 61st minute, and Sheffield United got an equalizer through Oliver Norwood in the 65th minute.
Paul Mullin put Wrexham in a deserving lead, but it was cut short by Sheffield United’s John Egan in the 90+5 minute. The replay will be on February 7, 2023.

When Will The Fifth Round Of The FA Cup Be Played
The fifth round of the FA Cup is slated to take place from March 1. If a fifth round tie ends in a draw, the game will head straight to extra-time, and if required, penalties.
Date For Draw of the Fifth Round of FA Cup
It is going to be on January 30th, 2023, ahead of the match between Derby County and Premier League side, West Ham. The draw will begin around 8 p.m. on the BBC.
As mentioned earlier, the fifth round of the FA Cup does not have any element of replay if a game at this stage ends in a draw.
