West Ham United fans witnessed their side suffer a shock defeat at the hands of struggling Everton at London Stadium.
West Ham United hosted Everton on matchday 10 of the English Premier League at the London Stadium.
It has been a disappointing campaign for the visiting team so far this season as Sean Dyche’s men managed to gather just seven points in their last 9 matches.
West Ham have experienced a good start since the beginning of the new season, which saw them secure 14 points in their last nine outings.
Both teams locked horns on Sunday, 29th of October, as the match ended in a 1-0 scoreline with Dominic Calvert-Lewin appearing in the scoresheet.
West Ham made two changes to the side that lost to Aston Villa in their last Premier League match.
Cresswell made his first start of the season following his return from injury to replace Emerson Palmieri at left-back. Kudus also started ahead of Soucek.

The match got underway at exactly 2:00 p.m. (BST) as Lucas Paqueta made the kickoff pass of the game for West Ham United.
The first five minutes saw the home team take control of the game while Everton were blocking every available space to avoid early setbacks.
West Ham made an effort in the 7th minute as they built a good counter-attack. Antonio got around the back on the left but his play was intercepted at the near post.
In the 10th-minute, Paqueta threw a beautiful pass over the victor’s defense toward Bowen and got out of reach as Jordan Pickford saved the ball.
Neither West Ham nor Everton managed to register a shot at goal in the first 16 minutes of the match but the home team were in control.
Everton dominated the game in the first 25 minutes but were unable to penetrate Everton’s strong defense.
Paqueta signaled for the crowd to make more noise following a beautiful pass he threw across to Bowen but the Englishman missed their first scoring chance.
Jordan Pickford picked up the first booking of the match in the 28th minute following his hard tackle on Kudus.
Everton got their chance in the 32nd minute through Mykolenko’s which was missed by Calvert-Lewin. The away fans protested for a penalty but the centre referee looked away.
Towards the end of the first half, Mykolenko’s fine cross was headed away from the area by Calvert-Lewin.
Five minutes were added to the regular time as West Ham continued their search for a breakthrough.
During the additional time, Everton kept West Ham quiet and Sean Dyche looked pleased with his team’s performance.
Both teams really worked hard as the referee blew the first-half whistle in the 49th minute of action.
The second half started as Everton made the first kick.
The visitors were quick to see a breakthrough in the 50 minutes of play. McNeil played a fine short pass into Calvert-Lewin in the area, and he turned nicely away from Zouma before beating the diving Areola and rolled into the net.
West Ham strived for an equalizer as Paqueta tried an overhead kick that went far away from the goal.
West Ham made their first change in the match in 58 minutes, Said Benrahma subbed on to replace Michail Antonio.
Calvert-Lewin collected Onana’s pass through the middle and smashed an effort off the woodwork before the flag was raised for offside.
West Ham threatened Everton’s defense while Aguerd tried to fire a shot but the visitors stood firm blocking all areas in the 89th minute.
Paqueta twisted a very deep cross to Benrahma, whose superb volley towards the near post was dined by Pickford before six minutes was added by the officials.
The full-time whistle was blown as Everton smashed all three points at the London Stadium.
