Erling Haaland reportedly has a shocking clause in his contract that allows him to move from Manchester City to Real Madrid in 2024.
In his team’s 6-3 thumping of neighborhood rivals United on Sunday, the 22-year-old striker, who is now on fire, scored his third consecutive home hat-trick.
He now has a tantalizing 17 goals from ten games since joining from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.
After being acquired for £51 million in June, he agreed to a five-year deal that will last until 2027.
They had to beat out Real and Barcelona for his services, but the chance to play for Pep Guardiola in the Premier League was too enticing for Haaland to pass up.
But according to SunSport, City began attempting to negotiate a better agreement a week after he signed.
According to earlier rumors, Man City anticipates his future relocation to Spain.
Los Blancos will prevail in 2024, according to Fernando Sanz, a former Real Madrid player and the former president of LaLiga club Malaga.
Speaking to MundoDeportivo, he said: “The information I have is that there is an exit clause for Haaland in the second year, and the curious thing is that with very beneficial conditions compared to the rest for a club, which is Real Madrid.”
“Haaland puts in a clause that allows him to leave after two years but with priority for Real Madrid.
“Madrid puts up whatever money it takes and takes Haaland without talking to City.”
Sanz is adamant that taking Haaland for the release clause will be given priority to the Bernabeu side.
Additionally, Alfie Haaland, Erling’s father and another City actor, hinted that his kid might not be planning a lengthy stay in England.
Alfie said: “He [Erling] could have 2½ years in Germany, 2½ in England, and then in Spain, Italy, France, right?
“We do not know if it will be like that, but I think he would like to test his abilities in the big leagues.”

Haaland’s future plans may take him across Spain
In the documentary “Haaland, the Big Decision,” Erling Haaland’s father, Alfie Haaland, disclosed that his son aspires to play in several leagues.
According to reports, Haaland may go to the Bernabeu in 2024, which would be a big victory for Los Blancos after Haaland’s generational rival Kylian Mbappe left them at the altar when the Frenchman chose to prolong his stay at Paris Saint-Germain.
However, the release clause applies to both FC Barcelona and Madrid, according to dependable TV3 colleague Oriol Domenech in Catalonia.
Domenech also disclosed the purported price required to release Haaland from his City contract.
