Manchester City star Erling Haaland gears up for the final of the UEFA Champions League by eating at his favorite Chinese takeaway.
Haaland made good use of a few days off after the Citizens defeated Manchester United in the final of the FA Cup.
Erling Haaland visited his favorite Chinese restaurant in Norway
The Sky Blues traveled to his hometown of Byrne in Norway and while he was in the country, he visited Chinese restaurant Wen Hua House.
The Web Hua House has been the favorite Chinese restaurant of the Erling Haaland household ever since the former Dortmund attacker was a youngster.
He joyfully posed for pictures with the owner of the Chinese restaurant Hui Zhu Wang after enjoying sweet and sour chicken alongside Peking duck.
Haaland had in the past signed autographs for supporters during visits and presented signed shirts to the eaterie, gladenning locals and tourists present.
The 22-year-old record breaker who scored 36 goals in the 2022/23 Premier League season is not the only player of Manchester City who loves Chinese food.
Earlier this campaign, close friend of the Norwegian and teammate Jack Grealish revealed how he loves to feast on a slap up £52 takeaway from classy Chinese restaurant Wings who are situated in Manchester.
The Englishman revealed he loves to eat such after a match in addition to a side of chips.
Speaking with supporters earlier this season, Grealish said: “Yeah I love Chinese man. After every game I get one. I go to Wing’s in Manchester, I usually get a takeaway.
“I have Singapore chow mein, I have egg fried rice, I have salt and pepper chips, salt and pepper prawns, and then curry sauce.
“And then mix it all in, and have a big free for all in there.”
Manchester City are eyeing to win the treble and Champions League for the first time in the club’s history on Saturday and all hands much be on deck to ensure that.
They raced past Arsenal to win the Premier League in May, City afterwards defeated eternal rivals Manchester United on the 3rd of June in Wembley to win the FA Cup.
Erling Haaland has scored 52 goals out of the Citizens 147 goals this season and Manchester City are expecting him to come clutch on Sunday.
He is also the top scorer in the UEFA Champions League this season and Pep Guardiola would be hoping he can add to his tally of 12 goals when they face Inter Milan.
Historically, Inter Milan are the bigger side going into the final, given the fact that they have won three UEFA Champions League titles.
However, Manchester City come into the final in a richer vein of form and despite them not having any Champions League title to put on the table, they have better players than the Nerazzurri.
