The Three Lions of England are leading the list of the most valuable football teams going into Euro 2024.

The Gareth Southgate’s estimated net worth, as shared by The Sun, is £1.29bn. Regarded as favourites to win the European footballing showpiece, the team recorded a far-from-ideal result in their last warm-up friendly against Iceland at Wembley. They suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to the Icelanders with Thorstensson scoring the lone winner for the underrated visitors at Wembley.

After reaching the final in the last edition of the tournament, they are expected to wave aside the Iceland shocker and go all the way to win the competition.

France, another European heavyweight making the cut of favourites to win the competition, are second on the squad value table with a value of 1.04bn. Kylian Mbappe, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, and Ousmane Dembélé lead the list of top players in the squad with sky-high value.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal are third on the list with a squad value of £890m, £10.04m less than France. Some high-value players in the Portuguese squad include Cristiano Ronaldo of Al-Nassr, Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United, Joao Cancelo of Manchester City, Joao Felix of Atletico Madrid, Raphael Leao of AC Milan, Goncalo Ramos of PSG, and others.

With the likes of Florian Wirtz, and Jamal Musiala, Germany are fourth on the table with a squad value of £722m behind Spain, who are third in the log with an estimated value of £822m. Lamine Jamal, Rodri, David Raya, and Nico Williams, lead the list of highly prized assets in the La Roja squad.
