All-star midfielder Emmanuel Reynoso has taken a bold step towards returning to his club, Minnesota United FC, as the football club announced he is already training with them with the intention of rejoining the squad.

Minnesota United made a statement before MLS Match Day 11 that “Reynoso is unavailable for all team activities until further notice.”

In February 2023, Reynoso was suspended without pay for failing to report to preseason training.

His teammates reported to the club in early January 2023, while Reynoso stayed in Argentina.

However, Minnesota head coach Adrian Heath has often addressed the media and stated how the club is working behind the scenes to bring the player back.

After the 3-2 loss at Vancouver on May 6, 2023, Heath said, “Obviously, he is back here, and we will have a chat over the weekend and see what he is like, and then we can address that then.” “I have too much other stuff going through my head at the moment.”

“But I think the guys were all focused on us and what we have been doing.”

He continued, saying, “When we get to see Reynoso, we will address the situation.” I think most of us were just focused on the game against Vancouver.”
