Edinson Cavani has joined La Liga team Valencia on a free transfer weeks after his contract with Manchester United expired.
The Spanish club announced via social media that they had signed one of the best strikers in the world. It is a long-term ambition for the striker to play in La Liga.
The former Manchester United striker has agreed to a two-year deal that will expire on June 13, 2024. Cavani will bring experience to the team, and the Valencia manager, Gennaro Gattuso, knows the quality of the striker.

Though details of Edison Cavani’s deal with Valencia have not been made public, Futballnews gathered that the 35-year-old Uruguayan football legend signed a two-year deal with the Spanish club.
Cavani is expected to make his Valencia debut against Getafe on September 4, 2022.
