Ruby Mae has opened up about the terror she experienced during the break-in at Dele Alli’s north London mansion in May 2020.
Dele Alli and his ex-girlfriend Ruby Mae were the targets of a violent home invasion, where two robbers stole £350,000 worth of watches after attacking the former Tottenham star.
According to the Sun, the masked burglars bypassed security and entered the house, confronting Dele, his brother Harry Hickford, and Ruby.
Dele was physically assaulted and forced to give up three valuable watches, while Ruby was threatened and had her jewelry taken.
In the moment of fear, Ruby stayed silent in her bedroom before also becoming a victim of the attackers.
The 29-year-old model recounted the harrowing experience of how the two masked men attempted to forcefully remove her jewelry after assaulting the famous English footballer.
In a recent interview with the Sun in London, Ruby said: “He [the robber] approached me in a threatening manner.”
“He demanded to know the whereabouts of my possessions while trying to forcibly remove my bracelets and rings. I was terrified and just wanted it all to end, to ensure our safety.”
Struggling to comply due to fear and the presence of her dog, Ruby found herself unable to act as requested by the robbers.
While she was worried about her pet’s safety, Ruby said she grappled with whether to disclose the dog’s presence and the location of her belongings, feeling ill-prepared and panicked in the situation.
She added: “I couldn’t get the jewelry off as I was panicking and holding the dog behind me. I wasn’t answering his requests and I was terrified they were going to hurt Uno. I didn’t know whether to tell them or not, and I didn’t even know where everything was. I wasn’t thinking straight.”
The thieves fled the scene in a hurry, taking off with valuables totaling £350,000 before police arrived.
Unfortunately, despite the police’ efforts to apprehend the robbers, the culprits have still not been caught, leaving the victims to grapple with the emotional aftermath of the incident.
Ruby lamented: “It affected all of us. To get burgled is one thing, but to get burgled when you’re in is so scary. All of us were speechless. We were all just like, ‘What the hell has happened?’ We didn’t even know what to say to each other.”

Everton midfielder Dele Alli and model Ruby Mae broke up in 2021; less than a year after the raid and have remained far apart since then.
The 29-year-old model said the reason for their split was because they “drifted” and lost their spark.
The couple had met in a London bar in 2016 and for five years, they were one of the most photographed young couples in Britain.
What’s next for?
Dele Alli departed from Spurs to join Everton in January 2021 but has since struggled to make an impact and was subsequently loaned out to Besiktas in Turkey.
However, he returned prematurely and has yet to feature for Everton in the current season.
The 28-year-old who was sexually molested as a child has been sidelined by injuries and is looking forward to a fresh beginning in the upcoming summer after facing a challenging period in his personal life.
