De Ligt got Kopa Trophy while Sancho picks up Borussia Dortmund Player of the Month

Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt scoops the second edition of Kopa Trophy for the young best player. On the other hand, his close opponent, Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund receives Borussia’s player of the month for November.

De Ligt won the Kopa award at the 2019 Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris on Monday. He beats his key opponents João Félix of Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.

However, this award is usually for the best player in the world under the age of 21. The 20-year-old De Ligt inherits the award from France and Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.
