It was all smiles for Nigeria Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen as he attended the wedding ceremony between Davido and Chioma tagged #Chivido2024.
Before the main event on Tuesday, June 25, Osimhen joined hundreds of A-list celebrities and top personalities to attend the Bachelor Eve on Monday night, June 24.
In footage shared by Nigeria’s popular socialite and entrepreneur Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, Osimhen beamed with smiles as he graced the venue. He was then seen sharing a warm moment with one of Nigeria’s business moguls Tony Elumelu, who also attended the event. The former Lille forward shook hands with the renowned Nigerian businessman before a scene in the footage showed him on a luxury table with other guests at the event.
Osimhen’s posh and composed appearance came a day after he was spotted in another footage dancing happily as he bagged his invitation for the wedding ceremony.
In the footage which we also shared on Futballnews, the 25-year-old was in high spirits dancing to the cheers of Pascal and others after receiving the invitation.

The wedding ceremony is coming two years after the pair lost their three-year-old son Ifeanyi in a shocking and inexplicable occurrence in 2022. At the family home in Lagos, the blossoming toddler drowned in the swimming pool and was confirmed dead at a hospital in Lekki.
A year later, the couple would celebrate a joyous break away from the gloomy loss of Ifeanyi as they welcomed twins in 2023, marking a fresh beginning in their journey.

In footage shared on his social media handle, Davido arrived at the venue of the event in his 2023 Maybach S680 Virgil Abloh to cheers of fans. Garbed in a Nigerian traditional marriage attire, the ‘unavailable’ crooner was full of smiles as he celebrated what is regarded as another big day in his life.
His father, Adedeji Adeleke, who is a renowned business mogul with interests in oil and gas was also in attendance at the occasion. The pair were seen sharing a warm hug as they celebrated the big day.
His uncle, Ademola Adeleke, who is the Governor of Osun State, was also at the event. After sharing a quick dance with him, he prostrated before him with respect and humility as encouraged by cultural norms of the Yorubas – his ethnic group.
At the peak of the event was where he (Davido) prostrated before Chioma’s parent, Mr and Mrs Rowland, promising to care for and protect their daughter, whom he Weds officially the Nigerian way.
It is indeed a big day in the musician’s life as he ties the knot with his long-time girlfriend and now wife in the glamorous event. While the couple renewed their marriage vows, the event also ushered in another opportunity for top Nigerian sports and entertainment celebrities like Osimhen and the likes to meet up and share moments.
