Andre Onana joined the club from Inter Milan on July 20, 2023, for a fee of €52.5 million, and he has had a shaky start to life at the club.

Following the departure of Dean Henderson, Erik Ten Hag’s side also dashed into the transfer market to sign Altay Bayindir from Fenerbahce on September 1, 2023, for a fee of €5 million.

The 2023/24 season has been shrouded with a lot of talks regarding the goalkeeping situation at Manchester United, with Andre Onana so far failing to meet expectations.
