Al Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo’s legal case against Serie A giants Juventus over the issue of unpaid salary will be treated on October 4, 2023.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s legal case against Juventus is center on the club’s failure to pay £17.15 million which the club promised when he agreed to defer the payment in the COVID-19 period.
Ronaldo had decided that he wants to collect the money Juventus were owing him. The player had requested relevant documents from the Turin Prosecution office.
Ronaldo made the move after Juventus sold Dybala to AS Roma for a fee of £2.6 million which was part of the amount Juventus were owing the player.
A lot of players have already agreed that Juventus didn’t pay the wages on March 2020.
The second deferral was agreed in 2021 with the club continuing to struggle financially but they negotiated with the players individually and also with their agent.
it was also revealed that Leonardo Bonucci will press a legal action which is far different from the unpaid wages of the players.
The Italian player was humiliated by the Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri who forced him to train away from the senior team and didn’t provide enough training equipment for the Italian.
Cristiano Ronaldo spent three seasons at Juventus between 2018 and 2021. The Portuguese star scored 101 goals in 134 matches.
Ronaldo won two Serie A title and One Italian Title. After three seasons at the club, he left for Manchester United before moving to Middle East after the Red Devils terminated his contract.
