While Georgina Rodriguez watched the Manchester United legend play against Newcastle, Cristiano Ronaldo undoubtedly wished he had his partner’s sunglasses.
While Georgina, the couple’s kids, and Ronaldo struggled to control their annoyance at being substituted during the 0-0 stalemate, Georgina maintained her composure the entire time in her sunglasses and jumper dress.
The 27-year-old Argentine model was flawless, in contrast to United, who made 15 attempts on goal but came up empty-handed.
Influencer Georgina’s pale ribbed dress, long cream coat, knee-high beige boots, and enormous hooped earrings made her stand out in the stands more than Ronaldo did on the field.
“On our way to see Daddy,” she captioned the photographs of her arrival on social media.
Daughters Alana, 4, and Eva, 5, enjoyed dressing up more because they both donned princess costumes.
Alana completed hers with the traditional set of Barbie socks and Peppa Pig sneakers.
As they entered the stadium, she and a beaming Georgina held hands. A tube of Pringles, presumably the last thing her fitness-obsessed dad would eat, was tightly grasped in Alana’s other hand.
The family party later witnessed Ronaldo recover from having two goals disallowed before Marcus Rashford took his place on the field after 72 minutes.
In extra time, England forward Marcus Rashford missed a clear opportunity by heading the ball wide.
In the meantime, Ronaldo soon had the consolation of running into Georgina and their kids.
The 37-year-old superstar from Portugal had the ideal start and end to the day.
He received a special trophy from renowned ex-manager Alex Ferguson for becoming the first player to score 700 club goals.
Cristiano Ronaldo
A forward for Premier League team Manchester United and captain of Portugal’s national team, Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro GOIH ComM was born in Portugal on February 5, 1985.
Ronaldo is recognized as one of the best players of all time and has earned the most European player honors with four European Golden Shoes and five Ballon d’Or titles.
In his career, he has won 32 trophies, including the UEFA European Championship, five UEFA Champions Leagues, and seven league championships.
Ronaldo is the father of six kids. Cristiano Jr., born on June 17, 2010, in the United States, is his first child.
According to an arrangement with Cristiano Junior’s surrogate mother, Ronaldo said that he has full custody of the child and would not be disclosing her identity in public.
Irina Shayk, a Russian model, and Ronaldo’s five-year relationship came to an end in January 2015.
Eva and Mateo, twins born to Ronaldo through surrogacy on June 8, 2017, in the United States, became his second set of children.
Argentine-Spanish model Georgina Rodriguez, with whom he is now involved, gave birth to their daughter Alana Martina on November 12, 2017.
In 2022, the couple was expecting their second set of twins, but the male twin passed away in childbirth. The female twin, who survived, was given the name Bella Esmeralda.
When Ronaldo was 20 years old, his father José passed away at the age of 52 from a liver disease brought on by drinking.
Georgina Rodríguez
The Manchester United player has been seriously seeing the Spanish model since splitting up with longtime girlfriend Irina Shayk.
Cristiano Ronaldo may spend the majority of his time in the spotlight, but since becoming a footballing celebrity, he has maintained a low level of secrecy regarding his romantic relationships.
Prior to their breakup in January 2015, the Manchester United forward dated Russian model Irina Shayk for almost five years. His sister Elma compared their split to “a death” in the family.
After that, Ronaldo was linked to a variety of ladies, but it became clear a few years ago that the Portuguese captain’s official girlfriend is Spanish model Georgina Rodriguez.
Manchester United V Newcastle
The fact that Manchester United was able to retain a clean sheet was the one bright spot in the team’s goalless draw with Newcastle.
This was United’s third Premier League clean sheet and fifth overall for the season.
In their last 13 home Premier League games (W7 D5), Manchester United has only suffered one loss (a 1-2 loss to Brighton on MD1 this season).
Only one of Newcastle’s 28 Premier League games at Old Trafford have ended in a victory (D9 L18), and their 3.6% win ratio there is tied for the lowest of any venue where they have played 10 or more times in the league (also 1/28 at Anfield).
This was the 76th goalless draw in Premier League history for Manchester United, 31 of which have come after Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013 (41%) — the highest of any team in the competition since the competition’s 2013–14 season.
Newcastle has played in more draws in the Premier League this year than any other team (six). In fact, only twice in league history have they drawn six or more of their first ten games, the other time being in 1924–25.
