    Cristiano Ronaldo has set a new record as Portugal saw off lowly-rated Leichstentein in a dead rubber 2024 Euro Qualifiers match.

    It was a near deadlock for Portugal as Leichstentein produce a solid defensive display to deny the 2016 European champions a chance to score throughout the first half.

    The win made it the 31st time Cristiano Ronaldo has win European Qualifiers match with Portugal national team. It is the most number of times by any European player.

    According to @timelineCR7, Cristiano Ronaldo now leads the European Qualifiers winning chart with 31 wins followed by Sergio Ramos (30), Luka Modric (28) and Buffon (28).
