Former Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo has sparked speculations concerning his next move after football enthusiasts spotted unexpected details in his Instagram post.

In a recent Instagram post, Ronaldo shared an image of himself sitting down comfortably with a bottle of water in his hand after participating in a padel match.

Beside him was a black cap with the Sporting Lisbon logo on it. Recall that Ronaldo started his footballing career at Sporting Lisbon before he was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson to Manchester United in 2003.

The 39-year-old striker plays for Saudi Arabia Pro League giant Al Nassr. Since he left Manchester United to play for Al Nassr, the striker has scored 58 goals in 64 appearances in all competitions for the Middle East club.

However, he failed to live up to expectations for the Portugal national team in Euro 2024. Ronaldo failed to score a single goal in five matches in the tournament.

The Portugal national team got eliminated by France in the quarterfinals of the tournament via penalties.
