Cristiano Ronaldo has finally made out time to have a break from football after a long season. He is currently holidaying with his family in an unknown location.

The 36-year-old father of four took his lover, Georgina Rodríguez, and his four children – Cristiano Jr., Eva, Mateo, and Alana Martina out for a cruise on his boat less than a week after Portugal crashed out of the ongoing Euro 2020.

Cristiano Ronaldo took to his various social media platforms to share a picture of the beautiful time he had with his family. In the caption, the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner wrote: “It’s time to rest with my loves”.

Recall that before Ronaldo created time to rest with his family members, he was actively involved in the European Championship. He helped Portugal to scale through Group F but could not do much against Belgium in the round of 16.

Hence, Portugal could not defend the UEFA European Championship they won in 2018. Their journey ended in the round of 16 after Ronaldo had scored five goals in three games.

Before the tournament started on June 11, the Portuguese football icon fought until the last minute of the 2020-2021 Italian Serie A season and succeeded in helping Juventus to qualify for the 2021-2022 UEFA Champions League campaign.

Despite how difficult the season was for Juventus, the Portugal international managed to finish the season as the league’s top scorer. Not only that, he won the season’s Coppa Italia.

While he was trying to help Portugal to win Euro 2020, Juventus were trying to extend his contract. As the club was fighting to extend his contract which will expire in June 2022, Paris Saint Germain were rumored to be interested in his services.

The latest reports claimed that Juventus and the football agent of Cristiano Ronaldo, Jorge Mendes are looking at the possibility of getting Ronaldo to sign a year contract extension with the Italian club.

If the ongoing negotiations yield a positive result for Juventus, Ronaldo would remain the player of the Italian giants until the end of the 2022-2023 season. By then, the 36-year-old Portuguese football icon would have turned 38-year-old.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been at Juventus since July 10, 2018. He joined the Italian club from Real Madrid for a transfer fee worth €117 million.

Since then, he has helped Juventus to score 101 goals in 133 appearances. He has also helped the club to win two Serie A titles, one Coppa Italia, and two Supercoppa Italiana.
