This is arguably the first time Ronaldo has openly claimed he is the best player in the history of the game with some fans and pundits giving the credit to Lionel Messi after the latter led Argentina to a 2022 World Cup triumph in Qatar.
Speaking to Goal Arab after returning to Al-Nassr from an international break, Cristiano Ronaldo said; “I am the best player in the history of football.”
