    Cristiano Ronaldo has hit out at players who don’t want to play for the national team of Portugal.

    The 39-year-old pointed out his frustration at players who snub the opportunity to represent Portugal. He urged players to enjoy playing for the Selecao as time flies and he indicated that there is nothing better than representing one’s country and culture.

    Speaking ahead of Portugal’s UEFA Nations League engagement in November 2024, Cristiano Ronaldo said: “I get frustrated with some players who don’t want to play for Portugal”.

    “Enjoy playing for the national team, time flies! There’s nothing better than represent your country and your culture.”

    Ronaldo is currently focused on Portugal’s upcoming UEFA Nations League engagements with Poland and Croatia on November 15 and  November 18, 2024.

    Cristiano Ronaldo is the joint top-scorer in the latest edition of the competition, having scored 3 goals in 4 matches and he is tied with Davide Fratessi alongside Deniz Undav and Randal Kolo Muani at the summit of the chart.

    Ronaldo will certainly be keen on helping Portugal claim the UEFA Nations League title, having led them to major honors in years past.

    He said: “I can’t wait to see what my legs have to offer me in the next few years”.

    “If the 1000th goal comes, that’s fine… but if it doesn’t happen, I’m already the top scorer in history”.
