Cristiano Ronaldo has compared Real Madrid with Paris Saint-Germain, stating how it is more difficult for Kylian Mbappe to survive in the Madrid environment than the French club.
During his latest interview with Rio Ferdinand, Cristiano Ronaldo claimed a huge pressure is on Kylian Mbappe to perform beyond expectations at Real Madrid compared to Paris Saint-Germain.
He said “I think this new generation, they have a lot of potential, let’s see if their head is clear and good, and if they can deal with the pressure, because Real Madrid is not PSG, I can assure you.”
“There is a different environment, but I believe that Mbappe’s going to do it very well.”
Mbappe left the French giant for Real Madrid as the top scorer of the club in all competitions.
However, he is struggling to replicate the same success at Real Madrid with just two goals in four matches in La Liga.
He is expected to survive in the Real Madrid environment with the creative ability of his teammates. Mbappe won the UEFA Super Cup in his first competitive match with Real Madrid.
He is focused on winning other major silverware before the end of the 2024–25 season.
Why Cristiano Ronaldo Feels Real Madrid is Bigger Than Paris Saint Germain
Real Madrid all-time goalscorer, Cristiano Ronaldo, feels Real Madrid is a bigger club than Paris Saint-Germain because of the total trophies won by the Los Blancos compared to the French giant.
Real Madrid have won 101 trophies in history, while Paris Saint-Germain have only 49 trophies. Another reason is that Real Madrid remain a dream club for every football player.
Mbappe didn’t sign a new deal while he was at Paris Saint-Germain just to play for Real Madrid.
Manchester United defender Leny Yoro waited for Real Madrid in the 2024-25 transfer window before he changed his mind and proceeded to join the Red Devils.
Other football stars will consider joining Real Madrid ahead of other football clubs if the Los Blancos demand for their service in the transfer window.
Why Kylian Mbappe Left Paris Saint Germain As The Club Highest Goalscorer And His Currently Struggling At Real Madrid
Mbappe drew down the curtain on his Paris Saint-Germain career, scoring 291 goals in 378 appearances in all club competitions.
Since he moved to Real Madrid, he has scored three goals in five appearances.
Mbappe’s struggle at Real Madrid is down to his current dip in form. The French international claimed he was not good enough in the Euro 2024.
His goal tally for the France national team has not been good enough in the last few months.
Also, in the last five games at Real Madrid, Mbappe has failed to score some clear-cut chances.

Ronaldo accused the two football legends of having outgrown egos. During his latest interview with former Manchester United defender Ferdinand, he said, “They don’t know nothing.”
“It’s much easier to criticize than to appreciate what you really have. We know how the press works; if you speak positively, nothing sells; you have to speak negatively.”
“It’s normal. And if you speak about Cristiano, it’s coming on the first page because I’m the most followed guy in the world.”
Ronaldo continued, “What am I going to do? Am I going to cry and then finish my career because two rats criticized me? The world loves me! The fans love me! This is my motivation.”
“Nobody is going to take my shine away because two guys from television that nobody knows have criticized me.”
Ronaldo penalty was saved by Slovenia goalkeeper Jan Oblak. However, he scored a goal against Oblak in the penalty shootout and proceeded to plead with the Portuguese fans.
