Christopher Nkunku has reportedly been a target for Real Madrid, Manchester United, PSG, Chelsea, and Liverpool.

Reports have suggested that Liverpool might swoop in for him, should their transfer of Darwin Nunez from Benfica collapse. A few days ago, Liverpool submitted a bid of £70m for the Uruguayan, as they look to strengthen their squad after losing the Premier League title to Manchester City. In case the move for Nunez falls through, Liverpool are ready to pounce on Christopher Nkunku.

He revealed in his recent comments that he is flattered about the clubs he has been linked to. While speaking to Telefoot, he said; “It’s no secret there are clubs that are interested in me.

“Yes, it’s flattering. But it’s also flattering to have a club like Leipzig doing everything to keep me.

“Here, we will have to think carefully and make a good decision. The World Cup is coming to life and this is a parameter to be taken into account.

“As I said, you just have to think it through.”
