Chester Court Trial: Benjamin Mendy claimed he “had sex with 10, 000 women” before raping victim

Benjamin Mendy has claimed that he “had sex with 10,000 women” before assaulting his victim. This was made known at the Chester Court Trial by a 20-year-old alleged victim.

Startling revelations emerge from the ongoing Chester Court trial of Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy, 28. The France international is standing trial for charges of sexual assault, attempted rape, and rape. Alleged victims have testified in Chester Court about what transpired between them and Mendy.

Narrating her experience, a 20-year-old victim told Chester court of the struggle and agony she underwent after being assaulted and raped by Mendy.

“It was extremely painful. My body grew tense. I said no so many times, and that is what really got me up upset,” she said.

It was revealed that Mendy allegedly left the victim bleeding after the brutal encounter.

The accuser was hanging out with her three friends in October 2020 at a bar in Cheshire, according to the record of her Police interview, which was played in court. The ladies reportedly met and talked with three black guys including Mendy, Manchester City player. Mendy bought drinks for her and her friends.

After finishing at the bar at Cheshire, the lady reported that she and her friends were invited back to Mendy’s house at Mottram St Andrew Village. At Mendy’s mansion, the victim said she was sitting close to the indoor swimming pool and was scrolling through her phone before Mendy grabbed the phone in anger, accusing her of taking shots of him.

Mendy walked upstairs with the victim’s phone, claiming to check the phone to ascertain an alleged breach of privacy. He glanced through her private pictures in the process. The alleged victim followed him upstairs to take back her phone. Mendy had unlocked his bedroom with a fingerprint, and the victim claimed she followed him up to have his handset back.

According to her, she told Mendy, “I don’t want sex with you. I don’t know what is going on, but listen, I want my phone.”

At this point, the door was confirmed locked. “The door is locked anywhere,” she allegedly said during the incident.

She also said that Mendy had told her to take off her clothes because he just wanted to take a look at her.” I promise. I just want to have a look at you if you just put off your clothes”, the Manchester City player reportedly said.

She further said that undressing before Mendy, as he demanded, was better than being stripped naked by the Manchester City defender as she wanted to have her phone back and walk off the room. But the reverse happened, the woman claimed. When she undressed, Mendy forced her onto the bed and threw the phone on it, raping her from behind.

She claimed to have shouted, “I want to go. I don’t want to have sex with you. I don’t want to do that.” Mendy persisted and allegedly raped her thrice in 20 minutes during the struggle.

According to the alleged rape victim, Mendy’s reply was blunt. “You are too shy. It was a privilege to come to my house and have that done every night with me.” Mendy had gone on to claim that he had had sex with tens of thousands of women; that it was a privilege, and she could come back for it again.

After the incident, the lady left the bedroom for the toilet and later left with her friends. She had confided in a colleague who discovered something was wrong with her before disclosing it to her family and then to the police after some weeks.

She had reportedly got a Snapchat message from Mendy and his co-accused Louis Saha Matturie, 41, asking whether she is okay and seeking settlement a day after the incident.

Mendy and Matturie are both standing trial on charges of sexual assault, attempted rape, and rape. Both have denied the accusations leveled against them.

If convicted, they may likely face prison sentences ranging from 5 to 20 years.
