On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, Chelsea released an official statement confirming the club had parted ways with Mauricio Pochettino after a brilliant season with the Chelsea side.

Pochettino took the Chelsea team to the Europa League for 2024-25 season after the club finished in 6th place in the Premier League table. Also, Chelsea were semi-finalists in the 2023–24 FA Cup and finalists in the Carabao Cup. However, he got fired after he demanded to influence Chelsea’s transfer policy.

The London club are focused on getting a modern and dynamic footballer who can play offensive football, have possession, and improve the team defensively.

In addition, the manager should be someone the youngsters at the club will trust.
