The England international has a year left on his deal at Stanford Bridge and there is a rising feeling he wants to make the move.

The Manchester Club led by Erik ten Hag have a price in purpose for the 24-year-old Chelsea academy graduate as he goes into the last year of his current contract.

According to reports, Manchester United will return with a new bid in the next few days as Mount is among their top transfer target.

Mount is now valued at £70 million by Chelsea, so it will be interesting to see if United counter with a higher offer right away or decide to wait.

According to football insiders, the Red Devils are convinced that the 24-year-old would not extend his contract to remain at Stamford Bridge after it expires in June 2024.

However, The player is one of Chelsea’s first team’s lowest-paid members.

Despite a considerable discrepancy in values between the two opponents, the Blues are willing to continue negotiations.

United is apparently confident that the West London club will be compelled to decrease the value of the midfielder this summer or risk losing him on a free transfer next year because of the player’s stated desire to leave this summer without a new contract.

Mount was a player the club desperately wanted to keep, but whether or not new head coach Mauricio Pochettino would rather sell a player in his final year of the contract is unknown.

In addition to worrying over Mount’s future, Chelsea have to contend with the fact that no team is willing to pay the £70 million they want for Mason Mount.

Man United would be keen on Mount more seriously if his price dropped by roughly £50 million, while Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and Arsenal have also looked at the English midfielder but are unwilling to pay that much.
