Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is set to miss the club’s final English Premier League match of the season at home to Newcastle United.
The Blues are now experiencing their worst Premier League season ever, almost worse than the 1993–1994 season in which they finished 14th with 51 points.
It has been a horrible season for the West London club, who have wanted cohesion both on and off the pitch.
Chelsea currently sits in 12th position and the best that they can finish is 11th, while it is apparent they could finish as low as 14th in the Premier League standings.

According to reports, Todd Boehly will not be in attendance at Stamford Bridge as he has a business meeting to attend in America.
After the final whistle of their final home game of the season, Chelsea players often re-enter the pitch to begin a lap of thanks to their supporters, which this year will be tagged as a walk of shame.
Therefore, Boehly does not want to participate in the ‘lap of appreciation’ following the game, since the media see it as a walk of shame.
Todd Boehly missed Chelsea’s last defeat they suffered at the hand of Manchester United on Wednesday night at Old Trafford due to illness.
On the other hand, Boehly, a regular at Stamford Bridge this season, was challenged by fans above his box during the home loss to Brighton, and it remains to be revealed the specifics of the attack.
Chelsea’s season was deemed “embarrassing” by Boehly, who visited the home dressing room after the Brighton game and shocked the team by calling their outing “pathetic.”
It is not expected that Boehly’s decision to not attend Sunday’s game is due to the probable fans anger following the abysmal performance of the team after his and Clearlake Capital’s first season as owners.

Despite Boehly’s massive expenditure during the last two transfer windows, Chelsea have had a dismal year.
