Chelsea fans were seen taunting an Arsenal supporter as he walked past Stamford Bridge following the Gunner’s 2023-2024 Premier League season unhappy ending.

The last match of the 2023/24 Premier League season delivered heartbreak for Arsenal fans, as Manchester City’s 3-1 victory over West Ham United dashed their hopes of clinching the title.

If West Ham had managed to hold Manchester City to a goalless draw or defeat them, Arsenal would have hoisted the trophy as they defeated Everton 2-1 in the final match of the 2023/24 Premier League season.

Meanwhile, as one dejected Arsenal supporter made his way past Stamford Bridge on Sunday, May 19, he was met with taunts and jeers from Chelsea fans, even though their team failed to qualify for the Champions League.

However, fans have expressed their displeasure over Chelsea supporters’ behavior by criticizing them for mocking Arsenal.

One wrote: “Imagine a club with 63 points laughing at a club with 89 points.”

Another commented: “Who’s playing UCL and who’s playing Europa, lol.”

A third one wrote: “So shame just doesn’t exist to Chelsea fans.”

Brazilian star Richarlison takes a jab at Arsenal

In the aftermath of the thrilling matches that ended the 2023-2024 Premier League campaign this season, Tottenham’s Richarlison couldn’t resist taking a cheeky jab at Arsenal after they lost the trophy to City.

The Brazilian forward posted a video of a young boy laughing hysterically after appearing to cry, seemingly implying that Arsenal’s loss brought joy to the Brazilian in a comical way.

Note that Richarlison had once shown his dangerous side as he teased Arsenal’s Gabriel on Tiktok during the Gunner’s 3-2 victory against Tottenham.

Though Spurs fought back with goals from Romero and Son, Arsenal held their nerve to secure a 3-2 crucial victory, leaving Richarlison and his teammates with a bitter taste in their mouths.

Shortly after coming on as a substitute, Richarlison clashed with countryman Gabriel in a challenge that resulted in a yellow card for the Tottenham star.

One Tottenham fan took advantage of the moment and shared a video of the incident on social media with the caption, “Brazil’s top striker Vs Brazil’s bottom CB.”

Richarlison, who has 48 appearances for Brazil and has scored 20 goals found the humor in the situation and shared the clip on his social media, teasing Gabriel for having fewer caps for Brazil despite being a talented defender in the Premier League.

These two incidents serve as a reminder of the passionate rivalry between London clubs, and the importance of good sportsmanship in the world of football.

Arsenal may have fallen short in their title bid, but as they prepare for Champions League football next season, they will no doubt be looking to prove their doubters wrong and make a strong comeback.
