Casemiro is believed to have been hurt by Erik Ten Hag’s decision to exclude him from the Manchester United squad for the FA Cup final played on May 25, 2024.

The midfielder was initially named amongst the substitutes for the encounter against Manchester City but was removed and subsequently replaced by young defender Willy Kambwala.

Following the game, Ten Hag claimed that the midfielder was not 100% fit for the monumental fixture, however, various sources dispute the statements of the Dutch tactician.

Based on reports from GOAL, Casemiro was hurt by the decision of Erik Ten Hag and he is considering exiting the Old Trafford side this summer.

Casemiro and Ten Hag reportedly not in good terms

The move taken by the Dutchman looks to have turned out positively, as Manchester United defeated Manchester City 2-1 in the final.

Sofyan Amrabat, who came in to fill his midfield role was superb, while in the defense, the pairing of Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez was also solid.

Casemiro had started 10 matches in a row for Manchester United despite a shaky run of form, with the Brazilian playing as a makeshift center-back in the absence of Varane and Martinez.

Due to the poor form of the former Real Madrid man, doubts have begun to linger over his future at Old Trafford.

Saudi Arabian Clubs Interested In Casemiro

Three Saudi Arabian clubs are said to be interested in his services, including; Al Nassr, Al Ahli, and Al-Qasidiya.

Al Ahli and Al-Qasidiya are said to be the more desperate clubs interested in getting his services, and they are willing to offer him a better pay package above the £350,000 weekly wage that he earns at Manchester United.

Casemiro apparently also missed the team’s celebration after their FA Cup triumph, with the midfielder being pictured on social media jetting off on holiday with his family.

Casemiro’s wife, Anna Mariana, put out a picture of the couple on a flight with their two children, daughter, Sara, and son, Caio.

Anna captioned the picture with the words which read: “gone on vacation”.

Definitely, being excluded from the FA Cup final represented a sour culmination to a wishy-washy season for him, as it was an opportunity for him to celebrate alongside his teammates before the off-season break.

Recall he was also excluded from Brazil’s provisional squad for the upcoming 2024 Copa America.

    Casemiro At Manchester United

Casemiro moved to Manchester United from Real Madrid on August 22, 2022, for a fee of €70 million.

His contract with the Red Devils runs until June 30, 2026, although there is the option for the deal to be extended for a further year.

The midfielder made 32 appearances in the 2023/24 season, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists across all competitions.

Casemiro has received massive criticism for his display during the 2023/24 season, and he fired back at his critics during an interview with Sky Sports in May 2024.

The ex-Porto man said: “I was considered one of the best signings of the Premier League last season, and now I’m not worth anything anymore?

“The criticism is disrespectful. So when it’s lacking respect, then it’s worrying, and I don’t have to respect that either”.

Meanwhile, Casemiro has made 536 club career appearances, scoring 54 goals and providing 51 assists in all competitions.

Internationally, the 32-year-old has made 75 appearances for Brazil, scoring 7 goals and providing 3 assists across all competitions.

He has won several trophies in his stellar career, including; 5 UEFA Champions League titles, 3 La Liga, and 1 Copa America.
