Reports indicate that a buy option will be included in the loan deal, with the Clarets intending to hand Humphreys a five-year contract.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Burnley view Bashir Humphreys as a key defender for now and in the future.
Humphreys is an academy graduate of Chelsea, having joined the club following a spell with the youth setup of Reading.
Bashir Humphreys has been sent on loan to clubs like SC Paderborn and Swansea, all in a bid to ensure he develops into a top player.
