Bruno Fernandes has demanded an apology from the referee Michael Oliver after the Red Devils were denied a penalty in the first half against Tottenham on August 19, 2023.
Manchester United felt aggrieved after Cristian Romero’s hand blocked Alejandro Garnacho’s attempt in the 26th minute.
The angry captain Bruno Fernandes protested against the referee’s decision and was awarded a yellow card.
During the post-match interview, Bruno Fernandes compared the incident that happened against Wolves to the Manchester United incident where Andre Onana clashed with Wolves striker Sasa Kalajdzic in the stoppage time.
