Bernardo Silva finally tied the knot with his lover Ines Tomaz in an exquisite wedding ceremony in Portugal.
It was another landmark moment in the life of the Portuguese footballer as he finally crowns his love journey, tieing the knot with Ines Tomaz, 25.
Silva, who had one of the best seasons of his football career last season winning a historic treble with Manchester City, took his treble-winning teammates with him as he weds Tomaz on Saturday.
The glamorous wedding ceremony had 250 specially invited guests on attendance, including Silva’s Manchester City teammates.
All the guests were drawn from Ines Tomaz’ and Silva’s closest friends and allies featuring top footballers and other celebrities.
Among Manchester City players who attended the occasion were Ruben Dias, who is Bernardo Silva’s Portugal national team pal.
England star Kyle Walker also attended the occasion, including out-of-favor Manchester City star, Riyad Mahrez who is linked to a move to Saudi Arabia.
Another Manchester City and Portugal winger, Joao Cancelo, who is back to City after a loan spell at Bayern Munich, also joined the occasion.
Former Chelsea loanee from Atletico Madrid and Silva’s teammate in Portugal national team Joao Felix was also in attendance.
Music performance at the occasion was anchored by Bernardo Silva’s sister and celebrity musician, Maria Carvalho e Silva, 33.
Apart from dribbling opponents on the field, Silva stuns his teammates and other invitees as he shows off his vocal skills as he joined his sister live on stage to perform after formal wedding rites.
Ines Tomaz was glowing in her Oscar de la Renta wedding dress while Silva wore Rosa and Teixeira suit, a posh and classic men’s suite worn by A-list celebrities in Lisbon.
The event took place at Portugal’s famous recreational hub, the Daron Valley, located few miles away from Porto.
It was all smiles and glamour as the couple finally opted to settle in marriage after few years into the relationship.
Bernardo Silva’s marriage to Ines Tomaz is not coming as a surprise. Silva proposed to Inez Tomas this year with Tomaz, 25, showing off his engagement ring in May as she revealed she had accepted the proposal.
Silva and Inez’s relationship started in 2019 during the COVID-19 pandemic which locked out the two lovers from their tight celebrity schedules and afforded them enough time to spend together.
Sources close to the two couple revealed their love and affection for each other blossomed in the lockdown before Silva finally revealed in 2020 he is dating Ines Tomaz.
Bernardo Silva and Ines Tomaz announced in April they are expecting their first child together. They are currently living in Manchester together.
However, the newly-wedded couple may likely move away from Manchester soon with Bernardo Silva linked with a move away from Manchester City this summer.
He has two years remaining in his Manchester City contract but Saudi clubs are milling around the player. There are reports he may likely renew his deal, having been an integral part of Pep Guardiola’s treble-winning squad but an exit is not ruled out if he does not renew his contract this summer.
