Bella Esmeralda is the name of Cristiano Ronaldo’s daughter who was born on 18 April 2022. Ronaldo’s fiancee, Georgina Rodriguez took to Instagram on Saturday, May 7, to announce the name of the newborn baby.
In the Instagram post via which Georgina announced the name of her newborn baby, the model shared a series of pictures of the baby girl to the delight of her 37.9 million Instagram followers.
In the first slide, Bella Esmeralda was seen lying on a bed smiling like she was being tickled even though her eyes were tightly shut.
While in the second slide, the baby was seen sleeping deeply. She was sleeping so deeply that she didn’t have time to smile like in the previous picture.
In the last slide, Bella Esmeralda was snapped while enjoying a peaceful sleep. Her mother, Georgina, placed one of her hands on the baby when the picture was taken.
Georgina Rodriguez used the caption to do the world a favor by announcing the name of the baby girl. The 28-year-old mother of two wrote: “Bella Esmeralda 💚 180422”.
Since Georgina Rodriguez gave birth to the baby over two weeks ago, the world has been waiting to know the name of the girl. But Ronaldo and his lover decided to delay the announcement of the baby’s name for no known reason.
However, both Ronaldo and Georgina have shared pictures on Instagram revealing the face of the beautiful baby girl. One of the most recent pictures the 37-year-old Portuguese and Manchester United football icon shared on his Instagram page showed when he carried Bella Esmeralda on his lap.
In the picture, Ronaldo was seen seated on a couch topless and positioned the baby girl on his lap like he wanted to breastfeed her. He captioned the picture with “forever love” with love and a feeling of gratitude emojis.
The circumstances surrounding the birth of Bella Esmeralda
Before April 18, 2022, Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez were expecting twins boy and a girl. But when Georgina was undergoing delivery on the said date, she encountered a complication that led to the death of the boy.
Hence, Ronaldo and Georgina were left with the baby girl to love and cherish which means that the two lovers have two children together, Alana Martina born on 12 November 2017, and now Bella Esmeralda.
Apart from the two girls, Cristiano Ronaldo has three other children born in the United States through surrogacy. Ronaldo’s first child is named Cristiano Jr. He was born on 17 June 2010. The other two children are twins, daughter Eva and son Mateo, born on 8 June 2017.
