As Arsenal’s bad run continues in the Premier League, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Bukayo Saka, and Gabriel Magalhaes have tendered apologies on behalf of the team.

On the part of Gabriel, who got red-carded for two fouls committed within four minutes apologized for piling more pressure on the team after equalizing against the Saint.

Theo Walcott came back to hunt Arsenal on Wednesday with a dink over Bernd Leno before Aubameyang restored parity in the second half. Arsenal then went on ascendancy in search for the winner, only for the Brazilian to be given the marching order.

He took to his social media page and wrote: “I want to apologize for what happened today! I keep my head up to continue helping my teammates!

Saka has proven to be a quality. The 19-year-old who penned his first professional contract with the Gunners last season has now provided 11 assists in the PL and UEL since the start of last season more than any Arsenal player.

Despite his good footwork that got the ball to Aubameyang for the equaliser, the English winger wrote on his page: “You deserve more Arsenal fans.”

On the part of Aubameyang, who recently broke his long goal drought in the Premier League, he believes the team is working harder to get back to their best.

Is Arsenal really working hard to return to their best form?

One can credit Arsenal for their resilience against Southampton after being one man down. One a normal clime, a team of Southampton’s quality would have punished Arsenal.

After ending his goal drought, Aubameyang is capable of getting back among the goals to bring back the winning spirit in the team while Gabriel’s apology can be used to address the issue of indiscipline in the side. Gabriel has been the best defender in Arsenal.

Unfortunate,y, since getting sent off on Saturday, Granit Xhaka has not been able to tender an apology for the needless foul he made that got him an early shower against Burnley.

Now that some of the players have apologized with a promise to give the fans better performance and result, it is hoped that they will be able to achieve this as soon as possible so that the pressure would reduce on the manager, Mikel Arteta, and get back to where they truly belong.

Arsenal will come up against Everton, Manchester City and Chelsea in the next ten days.
