Everton announced the signing of England international Ashley Young from Aston Villa on a one-year deal.
The defender will be Sean Dyche’s first signing at Goodison Park after successfully defeating Luton Town for his signature.

Young is expected to join Sean Dyche for the preseason in Switzerland this week ahead of the friendly fixture against Stade Nyonnais on July 14, 2023.
Young started 23 games under Unai Emery last season as Aston Villa finished seventh in the Premier League and qualified for the European Conference League.
Young, who had 39 caps for England, won the Premier League with Manchester United and the Serie A title with Inter Milan.
Everton are also interested in bringing in Anthony Elanga. It was reported that Manchester United were ready to accept an offer from the Merseyside club for the Swedish youngster.
