The Scottish had shown what he is capable of with his brand of attacking football and massive cut back from his end. Apart from being a dependable defender, Tierney can play as a wing-back with three at the back as well, which saw Arsenal flourishing against their fellow London club in the all-important final.

What is the impact of Kieran Tierney against Chelsea?

In the game against the Blues, the Scottish international showed why he has taken over the role from Sead Kolasinac with another impressive performnace.

Although his only blemish in the game was a sluggish moment when Chrisitan Pulisic scored for Chelsea, Tierney had an otherwise perfect outing. He was able to tame in-form Mason Mount, who was rendered anonymous for the most part of the game. The Englishman was restricted to some shots outside the box, with only one of them being on target.

In one of his long balls, which was eight in total in the game against Chelsea, one of them found its way to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang before he was brought down in the box by César Azpilicueta, which won the team the penalty that was converted for the first Arsenal goal.
