Arsenal announced Ben White’s signing and now they are ready to offer Granit Xhaka a new deal. This move is a shock because Xhaka was expected to move on to go and play with Jose Mourinho.
AS Roma has shown serious interest in Xhaka, the club offered €12m + €3m add ons to Arsenal, but Arsenal turned it down. Now, the Gooners has offered him a new contract with a weekly wage increase.
In 2021, Arsenal midfielder, Granit Xhaka signed a 5 year, £26,000,000 contract with the Arsenal F.C. The contract guaranteed that Xhaka will earn £5,200,000 per year in salary, this also means that he earns £100,000 per week.
Xhaka is expected to make at least £150,000 per week if he agreed to extend his contract with Arsenal.
Given that Granit Xhaka is problematic player, is this a good move for Arsenal?
