Arsenal took to their official Instagram handle to announce their 2023/24 pre-season fixtures with the highlight being a game against FC Barcelona.
They announced that their men’s first team will have a pre-season match with Barcelona in Los Angeles, on Wednesday, 26 July.
The match will take place as part of the Soccer Champions Tour series, with the clash against Barca scheduled to hold at SoFi Stadium, home of the LA Rams.
The announcement marks Arsenal’s third and final pre-season fixture in the United States this summer, and it follows their clash with Manchester United.
Arsenal and Manchester United will face off in New York on Saturday, 22 July and then the Gunners will face MLS All-Stars in Washington DC on Wednesday, 19 July.
Arsenal’s sporting director, Edu, confirmed that: “Our match against Barcelona in Los Angeles is another great opportunity for Mikel and our men’s first team squad to prepare for the exciting new season. We’re very proud to be playing at the fantastic SoFi Stadium, the home of the LA Rams, in what will be such a special occasion for everyone at our club. This is another high-quality match in our visit to the United States in July and we’re so looking forward to meeting our many supporters in Los Angeles.”
The Soccer Champions Tour is a new soccer exhibition series which will take place between Saturday, 22 July and Wednesday, 2 August.
The series features six of the world’s most iconic football clubs competing in nine top-tier matches over 12 days in venues across the United States.
Arsenal will also be playing one game in the series which will feature Barcelona, Real Madrid, AC Milan, Juventus, and Manchester United.
The other team that will feature in the series is Los Angeles. While other host cities include New York, San Francisco, Dallas, Orlando, and Baltimore.
Arsenal’s Pre-Season Fixtures in the United States
