Arsenal fans were stunned when what seems to be the potential 2023/24 campaign home jersey of the club emerged online.
As the season draws to an end, we are getting closer to that time of the season when clubs announce their new uniforms.
With the leaked images online, Arsenal fans will be extremely overjoyed with the design if it turns out to be the club’s new home kit made by Adidas.
The design is sleek and with a commemorative red, white and gold colour patterns and it shows promises to be one of the Gunnar’s best kits.
Since they moved from Puma to Adidas in 2019, the London team have worn some brilliant strips, but this could be the best as gold trims will be added to next season’s kits.
The base layer of the jersey still remains the same with a darker shade of red, while the white trim has been edited slightly with the addition of the gold stripes on the shoulders as well as the Adidas logo.
The jersey caught the attention of the fans after the concept were released earlier this year on the reliable Footy Headlines website.
The leaked jersey has a golden shirt sponsor, a badge outline and Adidas print and the top has somewhat like a zig-zig lines going down the front and back which creates a striped pattern underneath the first look.
The sleeves on the other hand is white in color but have three golden Adidas stripes running down the arms with a slight crossover onto the middle of the top at the shoulders.
The bottom end of the sleeves also have a golden trim and a red ring to add gloss to the fine-looking jersey.
The back of the kit has a nice fresh effect with what looks like a golden lightning bolt running down from the collar side.
Since the North London club reunited with Adidas, they have released some of the cutest kits and matchwear in recent years with retro kits gaining more popularity over other items.
The Sportswear giants when they partnered with Arsenal said their aim is to ‘continue to inspire and engage supporters around the world’ and this looks like what they are doing here.
Arsenal could celebrate the end of the season in true style since the Invincibles season which happened about 2 decades ago.
If Mikel Arteta should win the league this season it would be a great timing with the added golden elements serving as a commemorating part of the design.
This design would be in line with the team as they celebrate the success they have failed to achieve for over two decades.
The prospective Premier League champions are set to take this a step further though other former winners have been doing it before now.
Arsenal fans have shown how excited they are about the new kits with one of the players writing: “Looks so nice” and another said: “Looks amazing. Ready for Champions League nights!”
