Manchester United winger, Antony has been said to insist on checking his ex-girlfriend, Gabriela’s phone upon returning from a Brazil game, while they were still dating.
The Sun reported that Sandro Oliveira, who used to work as Gabriela Cavallin’s chauffeur in Sao Paolo, has supported Gabriela’s allegations of domestic violence against Antony.
Recall that Gabriela claims Antony physically and mentally abused her during their two-year relationship.
While Antony strongly denies these allegations and has expressed his determination to clear his name.
However, during the Brazilian investigation, Gabriela’s former driver was recently interviewed by the police.
Following the interview, the driver stated that he had met Antony three times, with the first meeting taking place in November 2021 when the DJ asked him to pick up Antony from the airport after an international match with Brazil’s national team.
According to Oliveira, the Brazilian winger insisted on checking Gabriela’s messages on her phone to see who she had been speaking with after they got in the car.
Oliveira also claimed that he received an “SOS message” from Gabriela on another occasion while she was at a luxury apartment near Sao Paulo.
The driver confirmed Antony’s domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend saying Gabriela told him, “Antony is hitting me.”
The driver also revealed another ugly scenario he witnessed when Antony allegedly called him and said, “Sandro, come and get Gabi before I do something.”
Sandro also informed the police that he noticed Gabriela’s face and left arm were noticeably red and this alleged incident occurred while Gabriela was pregnant with Antony’s child before she unfortunately had a miscarriage.
Additionally, Gabriela’s best friend, Brenda Tereza Gondacki, is said to have supported the allegations of abuse against Antony.
The 22-year-old influencer recently shared a series of shocking text messages that she claims were sent from Antony, in which he allegedly expressed a desire for her death and used derogatory language towards her.
She also posted images of injuries she sustained, alleging that Antony physically assaulted her multiple times, including punching and headbutting her.
Gabriela further claimed that he threatened to crash their car after she attempted to end their relationship.
According to her testament, she suffered a severe finger injury that went down to the bone, and these attacks occurred even when she was pregnant.
Antony faces more domestic violence allegations
Gabriela has voluntarily handed over her phone to the police for examination, allowing them to review the conversations between her and Antony.
However, while Gabriela’s case with Anthony is still ongoing, more allegations of assault have been levelled against the footballer.
Antony has been accused of domestic abuse by banker Ingrid Lana, who claims he pushed her against a wall in Manchester in September of last year.
Law student Rayssa de Freitas, who initially came forward as a victim of Antony’s alleged abuse and stated that she required hospital treatment after an attack, decided to drop her case earlier this week.
Rayssa initially said she was attacked in the backseat of Antony’s Land Rover after a night out with the player in São Paulo, but has now withdrawn her claim.
