Antonio Rudiger of Real Madrid took to his Instagram page to share a lovely photo of himself and his daughter Aaliyah looking all grown.
The former Chelsea defender named his daughter Aaliyah Trophy Rudiger, with the ‘Trophy’ in her name etching the memory of his Champions League triumph against Manchester City.
From the image he shared, he was on a black shirt and black jacket whilst carrying Aaliyah on his left arm with her face blurred.
A fan explained in the comment section that the reason why some players blur or hide the faces of their Children when they share images online was in connection with a religious believe.
The fan wrote: “For people who don’t know why their child’s photo is covered, in Islam there is such a thing as AIN disease.”
“And that’s why when they post a photo there will be the word masyaallah or subhanallah to avoid AIN”
Several football stars including teammates took to his page to post comments in support including former teammate Hakim Ziyech.
Antonio Rudiger, a defender for Chelsea, was acquired by Real Madrid in 2022 on a free transfer.
The 30-year-old German international, whose contract with the Premier League side expires on June 30, 2022, has signed a four-year deal at the Bernabeu.
In a statement, Chelsea said: “Chelsea thanks Toni for his contribution to our success over the last five years and wishes him well in his future career.”
