Anthony Martial is a professional footballer who plies his trade with English Premier League club Manchester United and France national team.
Born in Massy, France, on December 5, 1995, Antony Martial started his professional football career in France at the age of 6. He played for CO Les Ulis youths from 2001 to 2009, where he groomed and nurtured his budding football skills.
In 2009, he moved to Lyon academy, where he spent three years before making his first senior team appearance in 2012 for Lyon B.
Anthony Martial spent a year with Lyon B, making 11 appearances, and scoring 5 goals. In 2013, Martial made his debut for Lyon main team. He made only 3 appearances before joining Monaco B that same year.
At Monaco B, Anthony Martial began to grow into a full-blown striker. He scored 3 goals in his 4 appearances for the club before joining Monaco first team, where he scored 11 goals in 49 appearances.
