Herrera made the decision to mock the 39-year-old chef via his Instagram story.
The 33-year-old, whose contract with Manchester United terminated in 2019 and who PSG signed for free, uploaded an edited picture of Messi’s image in which the Argentine embraced the World Cup trophy while lying in bed. Salt Bae was edited into the picture to mock his clinging nature.

Ander Herrera Agüera, a Spanish professional footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for La Liga team Athletic Bilbao while on loan from Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain, was born on August 14, 1989.

After Argentina’s victory in the championship game, chef and social media personality Salt Bae approached the team and “illegally” touched the Fifa World Cup Trophy.

Fifa has just jumped into action. The regulating authority claimed in a statement, “Following a review, Fifa has been establishing how individuals gained undue access to the pitch after the closing ceremony at Lusail stadium on 18 December. The appropriate internal action will be taken.”
