Alvaro Morata spent most of Thursday, July 29, 2021, celebrating two of the most precious gifts in his life, Alessandro and Leonardo, who turned 3-year-old on the said date.
The proud father of three, took to his Instagram page with 13.8 million followers to share a video that documented the feeling in his household from the day Alessandro and Leonardo were born to when they turn 3-year-old.
In the video, Alvaro Morata showed how much the arrival of the twin boys into his life means to him. His emotional countenance could not be hidden throughout the clip especially when he was sitting by the bedside watching over his wife, Alice Campello and the new arrivals three years ago.
In the caption of the Instagram post Alvaro Morata used to mark the third year birthday of the twin boys, the 28-year-old football star could not hide the amount of love he has for the boys.
He used the Instagram post to reveal how nervous he and his wife, Alice Campello were when she was pregnant with the twin boys. Alvaro Morata went on to describe how Alessandro and Leonardo came and revolutionalized their lives and acknowledged the strength of his wife.
He wrote: “Right now, 3 years ago, we were super nervous, millions of emotions and nerves, a lot of nerves, right @alicecampello? You came to revolutionize our lives, to revolutionize a house in which emotions were already intense.
“The strength of your mother, seeing your face, seeing you grow and enjoy each day is what makes us happy. See your character, your sensitivity as older brothers. You are our pride along with your brother Edo. Ale and Leo.”
Alvaro Morata and his journey to becoming a husband and the father of Alessandro and Leonardo
Alvaro Morata broke into the limelight very early in his life as a Spanish football star and did not waste time before he got someone to love and cherish.
The 28-year-old football star who currently plays for Italian Serie A side, Juventus fell in love with his long-time lover Alice Campello and did not waste time in proposing to her. Campello said yes to Morata’s proposal on December 10, 2016.
Since then, there has not been a turning back between him and the stunning Italian lady. They got wedded in Venice on 17 June 2017.
A year after, Alvaro Morata and Alice Campello welcomed their first fruits, twin boys, on 29 July 2018. They named them Alessandro and Leonardo.
Then, Morata was playing for Chelsea. He was able to convince the Premier League club to allow him to change his shirt number from 9 to 29 in honor of the twin boys.
The Spain international became a father again on 29 September 2020 when his wife gave birth to their third son, Edoardo.
They are all living happily in Turin, where Morata currently plays for Juventus on loan from Atlético Madrid. He is expected to return to Atlético on June 30, 2022.
