    Allan Saint-Maximin continues his impressive run in Saudi Arabia as he scored a stunner from outside of the box for Al-Ahli.

    The Frenchman scored the third for the Saudi team as they beat Al-Taawoun and capped it up with a somersaulting celebration.

    The former Newcastle player played alongside his former fellow Premier League counterparts Roberto Firmino and Riyad Mahrez.

    Al-Ahli took the early lead in the match but goals from Joao Pedro Pereira dos Santos and Musa Barrow reduced the deficit.

    Allan Saint-Maximin blasted an awesome shot in the second half from outside the box to give Al-Hilal the 3-2 victory.

    Allan Saint-Maximin joined the Saudi Pro League club for a deal reported to be worth around £23million, though fans thought he was too young.

    Recall we reported that the Saudi Pro League did a massive raid in the transfer market, especially the Premier League, Saint-Maximin was one of these players.

    The former Newcastle star, 26, scored his first goal for Al-Ahli after making six appearances for his new club so far.

    Aside from the aforementioned players and Saint-Maximin, former Chelsea keeper Edouard Mendy also started for Al-Ahli.

    The Frenchman’s late strike saw his team clinch all three points in the Saudi Pro League.

    In the match, Musa Barrow thought he had secured himself a brace when he hit the back of the net in stoppage time.

    However, VAR ruled out the goal, which meant Al-Ahli hopes of challenging Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr for the title are still alive after massive summer spending.

    Abdulbasit Hindi was sent off deep into stoppage time alongside midfielder Alvaro Medran – both teams were one man down.

    Allan Saint-Maximin ensured his team sit in the third position in the Saudi Pro League, while Al-Taawoun are in fourth position.
