Alejandro Garnacho has signed a new contract with Manchester United that will see him stay at Old Trafford until June 2028.
The Argentine forward who moved from Spanish team Atletico Madrid as a 16-year-old in 2020, has established himself at Old Trafford.
Garnacho who scored twice in last season’s FA Youth Cup final as United lifted the trophy for the 11th time, is now making his mark at the senior level.
He took to his Instagram page to write; “With hard work and dedication everything comes at this great club.”
“I want to achieve much more and that it be all together, see you on the pitch very soon❤️Just leaving a dream😴”
Garnacho has made 31 first-team appearances for Manchester United already after his debut for the Red Devil’s senior team.
The Argentine after signing the new contract said: “When I joined this incredible club, I dreamt of achieving my debut, playing at Old Trafford, scoring my first goal, and winning trophies with this badge on my chest.”
“I feel very proud and emotional to have experienced these moments already, together with my family who have supported me every step of the way.”

Who is Alejandro Garnacho
The Argentine joined Manchester United’s youth system from Atlético Madrid in October 2020.
Garnacho won the FA Youth Cup and the Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year award in May 2022. Prior to that month, he had made his first-team debut at the age of 17.
He played for Spain at the youth level before he went on to debut for Argentina at the under-20 level in 2022.
He was later called up to the Argentina senior team squad but he has not made any appearances yet.
