Despite still providing considerable quality when called upon, it appeared he wasn’t a priority choice for Pep Guardiola anymore.

He was a member of the 2022/23 treble-winning side that led the Citizens to success on the continent and the home front.

The Pro League runners-up are aiming for the league title and they are putting everything in place for what should be a grueling season ahead.

Meanwhile, Aymeric Laporte has made 22 appearances for Spain, scoring 1 goal and providing no assist across all competitions.

Laporte was part of Spain’s 2023 UEFA Nations League winning squad, and he played an important role in their success at the competition.

Al Nassr will be hoping that he can eschew his brilliance at the club, as they compete for top honors.
