Confirming his arrival to Al Nassr, the Saudi Pro League club put out a statement which reads:

“Let’s welcome the treble champion & Spain national team defender.”
The Riyadh-based club are now stacked with sublime options in defense, midfield, and attack, following the arrival of Laporte.
Al Nassr have quality in abundance, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcelo Brozovic, Sekou Fofan, Sadio Mane, and Anderson Talisca also part of the squad.
Is Aymeric Laporte the 6th signing for Al Nassr this summer?
Aymeric Laporte becomes the 6th signing for the Saudi Arabian club this summer, having signed Otávio, Sadio Mané, Seko Fofana, Marcelo Brozovic, and Alex Telles.

The Spaniard enjoyed a successful spell at the Etihad, but he lost his place in the starting 11 last season.
Despite still providing considerable quality when called upon, it appeared he wasn’t a priority choice for Pep Guardiola anymore.
Aymeric Laporte joined Manchester City from Athletic Bilbao on January 30, 2018, and he won 12 trophies at the club.
He was a member of the 2022/23 treble-winning side that led the Citizens to success on the continent and the home front.
The 29-year-old won 5 Premier League titles at Manchester City, 2 FA Cups, 3 EFL Cups, 1 Community Shield, 1 UEFA Champions League and 1 UEFA Super Cup.

The Knights of Najd lost their first two games of the Saudi Pro League season, and they will be aiming to pick up their first win of the Pro League season when they face Slaven Bilic’s Al Fateh FC.
Luis Castro’s side returned to winning ways outside the Saudi Pro League when they defeated Shabab Al-Ahli to qualify for the Asian Champions League.
The Pro League runners-up are aiming for the league title and they are putting everything in place for what should be a grueling season ahead.
Al Nassr have won the Saudi Pro League title on three previous occasions; in the 2013/14, 2014/15, and 2018/19 season.

Al Nassr will be hoping that he can eschew his brilliance at the club, as they compete for top honors.
