Adriano, a former star for Brazil, is said to have ended his marriage to Micaela Mesquita after just 24 days because he “disappeared for two days to watch the World Cup.”
The 40-year-old reportedly spent £13,000 on 18 prostitutes to help him deal with the disappointment of his unsuccessful transfer to the French club Le Havre in 2015; he wed last month.
The pair opted to move the wedding forward from its original November 30 date and posted images of themselves signing legal documents on Instagram.
There may, however, be difficulty in paradise. The couple has split up, according to Extra, after a disagreement over the player’s desire to follow the 2022 World Cup.
According to reports, Adriano took a car to Rio de Janeiro’s Vila Cruzeiro neighborhood to meet up with his friends and watch Brazil play Switzerland.
Before traveling back to Mesquita, the former Inter Milan, Parma, Roma, Corinthians, and Flamego player is claimed to have spent two days in Vila Cruzeiro, where he grew up.
According to rumors, Mesquita and Adriano got into a fight over where he was during that time and ended up breaking up as a result.
After walking down the aisle to wed Adriano, 40, Mesquita has erased all of their Instagram pictures together.
Following their shocking breakup, the couple also canceled a weekend celebration with their family and friends.
Given that they have a history of splitting up and getting back together, there may still be hope for the couple. Five times before, they’ve broken up and gotten back together.
In 2016, Adriano ended his career in football after losing interest in it as a result of the passing of his father.
