Adriano: Brazil Legend moves to €13,000-A-Month Hotel with his medals after selling his €1.3 Million Mansion

Brazilian football legend, Adriano has reportedly sold his mansion worth €1.3 Million and used the proceeds from the transaction to move to a hotel where he spends €13,000-per-Month. The 39-year-old football icon did not move to the hotel alone, he took along all the medals he won in his illustrious football career.

Reports in Brazil said Adriano had to move himself and his family to the luxury hotel temporarily pending the time he gets a permanent residence. The name of the hotel where the former Inter Milan striker is staying is identified as Grand Hyatt which is located in Barra do Tijuca, in Rio de Janeiro.

Adriano and his family reportedly left some of their belongings in their former mansion to move to the presidential suite of the hotel which is a 145-square-meter room. The presidential suite has a swimming pool and a balcony with a refreshing view that directly faces an ocean.

Though Adriano could not pack all his belongings from his €1.3Million mansion, he made sure that all the medals he won as a player in the clubs he played for across the world and as a former Brazil national team player are with him.

Those who are keen followers of the retired footballer know that the 39-year-old football icon is not new to flaunting the era of medals he won in his football career both for clubs and country.

Adriano used to be one of the fiercest strikers in the world who started his professional football career with Brazilian club, Flamengo in 2000. After spending a season in Brazil as a professional, he moved to Italy to join Inter Milan in 2001.

Before he left Flamengo, he helped the club to win one Copa dos Campeões and one Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. While at Inter Milan, Adriano won four Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia, and three Supercoppa Italiana.

Besides those two clubs, the retired Brazilian striker played for a couple of other clubs including Corinthians between 2011 and 2012. Though he spent just a season at the Brazilian club, he was able to help the club to win Campeonato Brasileiro Série A before he left.

For Brazil, Adriano who scored 27 goals in 48 appearances for his country’s national team, won one Copa América and FIFA Confederations Cup before he was dropped out of the competition in 2010. He also won some youth medals including FIFA under-17 World Cup and South American Youth Championship for Brazil.

Adriano has been out of professional football since 2016 after his unsuccessful time at Major League Soccer club, Miami United. Much is not known about his current status in terms of marriage or his new career after he left football.

However, reports have it that the former Brazil international has ended his marriage with his longtime lover Joana Machado. It was not reported when he got married to Machado and it was not also known when the marriage ended.

As at last check, Adriano is blessed with three children – a son, Adriano Ribeiro Junior, and two daughters, Lara Ribeiro and Sophia Ribeiro.

The former football star is very proud of his children as always flaunts them on his Instagram page with over 6.4 million followers.
