Adriano has been accused of being the bane behind the break-up of one of the most famous couples in Brazil.
Model Gracyanne Barbosa, 40, and singer Belo, 50, were married for close to 13 years, having begun dating in 2007 before walking down the aisle in June 2011.
Barbosa is a fitness model, who was born in Mato Grosso do Sul and has appeared in the likes of Brazil’s Playboy and gained popularity with a workout video shared in 2012 when pictures of her squatting 450 lbs spread across social media.
Meanwhile, Belo, whose real name is Marcelo Pires Vieira, is a popular singer in South America.
He was previously married to model and actress Viviane Araujo before meeting Gracyanne Barbosa.
Anyway, reports indicate that their relationship has ended, with Adriano blamed for being responsible – though the former Inter Milan forward is threatening to sue those behind the allegations.
The possible reason behind the break-up
Based on reports from Brazilian journalist Bruno Di Simone, Adriano, who separated from his wife Micaela Mesquita after just 24 days of marriage, was allegedly involved in a threesome with the couple.
This resulted in fitness model Barbosa falling in love with the retired Brazilian footballer.
It is believed that singer Belo noticed the telepathy between the two during the sex act, but proceeded on the relationship after.
Adriano has been forced to put out a message on social media, denying the allegations whilst also promising to take legal action.
Adriano deny allegations levelled against him
The 42-year-old said: “Hello guys. Once again, do you see this controversy that you are inventing about me, about Belo, Gracianne, and I? I don’t even know what this trio thing is that you are talking about.”
Adriano indicated his deepest respect for Belo and shared that he has never dated Gracianne Barbosa.
The Ex-Parma striker said: “I have the greatest respect for Belo, I never dated Gracianne.
“I’m going to make it very clear here, this guy, who says this about me, who made this up about me, you can be sure that he will be sued because this does not exist, I have never done this.
“All of this is a lie, I never did this trios thing, that’s the truth.”
Barbosa and Marcelo Pires Vieira (Belo), confirmed their split via a joint social media post.
Adriano Leite Ribeiro, commonly known basically as Adriano, played for several clubs in his career, including; AS Roma, Inter Milan, and Fiorentina.
He was tipped as a successor to legendary striker Ronaldo Delima, however, he couldn’t meet up to the lofty expectations placed on his shoulders.
Additionally, many attribute his inability to meet up to that level to his off-field activities such as drinking.
The striker scored 138 goals and provided 41 assists in 310 appearances across all competitions.
Adriano won several trophies in his illustrious career, including; 1 Copa America, 2 Serie A, and 2 Copa Italia.
