The manager of a Premier League club whose name was not revealed has reportedly been questioned by the cops over the rape of a teenage girl.

The Premier League manager reportedly visited the police station with his solicitor on June 12, 2023, and he was interviewed with caution but was not arrested.

The Met Police released a statement saying, “On Thursday, September 23, 2021, the Met received a crime report regarding an historic rape allegation.”

“On Monday, June 12, a man was interviewed under caution at a police station.”

It was reported that the accused, a well-known figure in the Premier League, met the rape victim when she applied for a job in an organization where the coach was at the time.

The organization has no connection to the Premier League club that the manager is currently working with.

The incident happened a long time ago; even the teenage girl is now an adult. Although the Premier League manager had denied the allegations in front of him, stating they were shocking,

A former Met Det Supt Michael Hames said, “With historic complaints in general, you lose potential evidence that could have been obtained earlier.”

“Very often, it becomes one person’s word against another’s.”
