Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal might be one of the most aggressive footballers on the field of play but the coronavirus pandemic which has caused football games to be suspended indefinitely has brought out the other side of him.
The 32-year-old Chile National team engine room took to his Instagram account to share a video which gave his Instagram followers and fans an idea of how he has been spending his coronavirus break.
In the video, Arturo Vidal could be seen with a basketball within the premises of his stunning mansion in Chile. The two time Copa América winner bounced the ball before he kicked it against the wall and then bounced back to him.
When he was done giving the ball such a treat, the next point of call was to net it like an NBA All-Stars player. He aimed it and netted it perfectly to the admiration of the voices who could be heard in the background.
Afterwards, Vidal began to dance to the Chilean music playing in the background towards the voices that he just finished entertaining with his balling skills.
The Other Side of Arturo Vidal
The voices in the background could be that of his children since the status of his relationship with his girlfriend and Columbia fitness model, Sonia Isaza is no longer known.
Vidal started dating the 35-year-old Columbia model after his marriage with his Chilean estranged wife Maria Teresa Matus broke down in 2018.
The Barcelona star married Maria in 2009 and she became the mother of all Arturo Vidal’s children – Alonso (Son), Elisabetta (Daughter), and Emiliano (daughter).
However, in 2018, a rumour began to fly that Barcelona midfielder has ended his marriage to Maria and moved his children to stay with him in Spain.
The rumour was confirmed in 2019 when he brought the children to the pitch to celebrate Barcelona‘s La Liga victory. It was further confirmed when Vidal was pictured with the Columbian model later that night at the club’s victory party.
Since then, pictures of the Barcelona star and the Columbia model have not seized flying around especially on Instagram.
However, in January 2020, they both stopped following each other on Instagram which sparked reports of a break-up.
It was reported that the Columbia model was seen singing popular love songs about heartbreak via Instagram after they stopped following themselves. There is no confirmation yet on the status of their relationship but Vidal has deleted all the pictures of the model from his Instagram page.
