This season, the American star has failed to get regular starts at Stamford Bridge.

Under Thomas Tuchel, the USMNT international has struggled to find regular playing time, with only 17 of his 34 appearances in all competitions coming from the start.

Despite scoring a late winner as a substitute against West Ham United the previous weekend, he was once again on the bench against Everton on Sunday afternoon.

What did his Father Say?

At Goodison Park, Pulisic did make it onto the field, replacing Timo Werner after 68 minutes, but he was unable to prevent the Toffees from losing 1-0 to the visitors.

Pulisic’s senior, Mark Pulisic, took to Twitter after the game to say, “The sad thing is he loves this club, teammates, and London…. pours his heart and soul into being a pro.” “Onwards and upwards, my boy…going it’s to be a tremendous six months ahead.”

Christian Pulisic told Tuchel after his late winner against the Hammers last weekend that he “always wanted to be on the pitch,” so being on the bench again at Goodison is likely to have been a great disappointment.

The Blues’ Pulisic has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter despite his legendary status in his native Croatia.

This season, he has only made 10 Premier League starts, with his cameo at Goodison Park being his eighth appearance off the bench.

A 4-0 win over Burnley on March 5 marked Pulisic’s most recent appearance in a Premier League game. He also scored in that game.

His father’s tweet shows that he is becoming increasingly frustrated with the forward’s situation, however it is unclear whether this will result in a drive for a summer transfer.
